About Our Leader
My name is Laura Viney and I have lived in Stoughton since I was 4 years old. Together my husband, Dan and I opened Learning Tree & Playland Childcare in September 2014 because I wanted to bring great childcare to Stoughton.

I graduated in 2001 with my bachelor’s degree in Business Management with many Early Childhood classes from UW-Whitewater. Together we have 2 children, Drew and Addison; who take up all of our free time with football, basketball, baseball, dance, and gymnastics but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I have dreamed about opening my own childcare center for many years and it truly brings together the two things that I really love; children and business!
More about me: I wish I could have a miniature goat, but my husband says “NO!”. My super-hero/hidden-talent is that I can fall asleep anywhere. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a marine biologist. My favorite part about teaching is meeting new families and interacting with them!
